My name is Lisa. I am born by the sea, and spend my childhood digging rivers and building sandcastles at the beach. Maybe that is where my love for ceramics came from? Traveling 1,5 hours by public transport to school is daily routine for me. When listening to Lana del Rey trough my headphones and staring dramatically out of the window, I get my best ideas. It’s because I can reflect on what I made, saw and heard during the day. My work is basically a reflection on experiences I had. But where any other people would focus on the highlights, I will focus on the simple things. Like the soup I had for lunch, or that cool shirt a classmate wore.
